AT LAST, A PLUGIN WORTHY OF THE ALL-TIME CLASSIC EQUALIZER.
Recreated from the original Motown units owned by eight-time Grammy winning producer, mixdown artist, and innovative engineering genius Michael Brauer. The launch of the MOTORCITY EQualizer that shook the pro audio world as one of the biggest secrets in music production was finaly revealed by releasing a dead on, carbon copy of one of the most influential EQs ever.
3 years later Heritage Audio is proud to introduce the MOTORCITY EQualizer Plugin, the world’s first true-reproduction of the “Holy Grail” of classic equalisers.
Finally you’ll be able to recreate the unmistakably huge, punchy and warm signature sound that makes this EQ as unique as the hits it helped create.
IT’S NOT JUST AN EQ, IT’S A STATEMENT.
What makes this plugin so special is its ability to infuse any mix with the unmistakable warmth, punch, and musicality that defined countless classic records, all while fitting seamlessly into a modern DAW workflow.
Each of its seven fixed frequency bands — 50 Hz, 130 Hz, 320 Hz, 800 Hz, 2 kHz, 5 kHz, and 12.5 kHz — has been modeled to reproduce the rich analog behaviour of the original hardware, complete with the gentle curves and natural phase interactions that make passive EQs so musical and forgiving.
But perhaps its most defining characteristic, though, is its ability to impart cohesion — that subtle analog warmth that gives mixes depth, dimension, and soul.
Whether used on individual tracks, buses, or the stereo master, the MOTORCITY EQualizer plugin brings the timeless Motown vibe into today’s productions, delivering not just precision, but personality.
